ASM SR 902 is a reflow oven designed for lead-free and leaded soldering of electronics and opto-electronics. It utilizes InfreControl Technology®, a patented feature that offers sophisticated intelligent temperature control and reflow profile for superior soldering results. SR 902 features two high-efficiency heaters that can be set to different temperatures, allowing for rapid heating up and cooling down of the reflow chamber. It is able to accurately manage thermal variations throughout the chamber for uniform heating. ASM SR 902 is capable of creating custom profiles which support an array of soldering applications including hot air rework, wave soldering, and conformal coating. The patented InfreControl Technology® utilizes a thermoelectric cooling system to provide cool air into the chamber at all times, giving SR 902 the capability of achieving much faster temperature control than a traditional PID based control system. This allows users to quickly adjust the temperature set point within seconds rather than minutes. ASM SR 902 features an intuitive two-stroke graphical user interface for easy profile setting. A recipe storage enables the user to store up to 20 profiles for easy access. The oven also features an auto adjustable top air (ATA) that regulates the atmospheric pressure to ensure optimal performance. The adjustable air curtains ensure that the front and back of the chamber will maintain an evenly distributed temperature for superior board-to-board uniformity. SR 902 is also equipped with an infrared light panel that acts as an integrated board inspection platform. The back view camera also provides visibility of the entire reflow process from an external source such as a computer or other device.
