Reflow oven 2001 vintage.
ERSA Hotflow 9 is a reflow oven used in electronics production and circuit board assembly. The oven is used to quickly and accurately heat components to the temperature that is required in order to establish and maintain a low resistance solder joint between components. Hotflow 9 features two infrared modules on top of the unit as well as two blower fans on the rear panel. This combination of elements produces a fast preheating time. The oven also includes an adjustable conveyor belt and four adjustable rails to control the speed of the belt and the movement of the boards. ERSA Hotflow 9 is equipped with a temperature control equipment (TCS) to allow for accurate and precise temperature readings. The TCS uses a combination of thermocouples and sensors to assess and monitor the temperature of the entire process chamber. These readouts are then displayed on an LCD screen, located on the front of the oven. Hotflow 9 also includes a standard on-board cooling system, which is used to reduce the temperature of the components once the desired temperature is reached. The cooling unit consists of two fans on the back panel, four adjustable vents, and a heat shielding machine. In addition, ERSA Hotflow 9 has an optional manual cooling process upgrade that can be installed to further reduce the temperature of the components. This upgrade is equipped with a manual cooling pump that allows users to adjust the cooling rate of the components by hand for added precision. Hotflow 9 also comes with an integrated safety feature that prevents the oven from exceeding a user-defined temperature limit. Once the temperature exceeds the limit, the oven will shut down and an alarm will sound to alert the operator. Finally, ERSA Hotflow 9 includes a 10-year parts warranty, providing users with added peace of mind when using the oven for their electronics production and assembly needs.
