Unitherm 820 has a robust stainless steel single chamber construction with advanced temperature control system that ensures precise and uniform temperature control over a wide board size and component population range. Ni-chrome (NiCr) or ceramic heaters are mounted in the over-sized oven chamber to provide exceptional thermal performance and rapid heating cycles. The user friendly control module features a ten program storage capacity and a variety of settings enabling a greater flexibility in reflow processes. To ensure optimal Ramp-To-Spike (RTS) time control, VITRONICS SOLTEC Unitherm 820 has an auto-tuning unit that adjusts the power level of each heater to achieve the desired set temperatures and hold them steady during thermal cycling of the board. It also features a variable speed conveyor machine able to adjust speed for each program set, providing board capacity flexibility for reducing both distress and solder joint defects.
