KIN-TEK SP61-H2O-SDHA is a residual gas analyzer (RGA) used to measure the concentration and type of gases present in a sample. It is equipped with a mass spectrometer and a dual heated thermal conductivity detector to provide comprehensive measurement of volatile gases and those components that can not be infused. The device runs on a Windows XP or Win CE software platform, allowing for easy operational parameters setting and data interpretation. RGA measurement is based on the mass-to-charge ratio of the gaseous components in the sample at a given temperature and pressure. A spectrometer capable of mass spectrometry (MS) analyzes the sample and provides data of the mass range, the percentage of each component, and their respective abundances. SP61-H2O-SDHA RGA uses a triple quadrupole system with a quadrupole ion filter for better quantitative analysis. The MALDI (matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization) ion source has a short analysis time, making it more suitable for rapidly analyzing samples. KIN-TEK SP61-H2O-SDHA features a wide temperature range, from -50 °C to 250 °C, and a wide pressure range, from 1 Torr to 760 Torr. It is also capable of detecting molecules containing oxygen, sulfur, and hydrogen, analyzing both the abundance and composition of the various gaseous elements. This includes the CO 2, H 2 O and O 2 concentrations, as well as other components, such as trace and ultra trace metals. Thanks to its wide pressure range and detailed data acquisition, this device is also suitable for environmental monitoring and industrial process control. Furthermore, SP61-H2O-SDHA comes with a number of safety features, including a self-contained system clock, which is necessary for sample collection adequately. The vacuum pressure can be monitored electronically and alarms can be set for low and high levels. An optical thermocouple self-test indicator is also included, and it verifies that the system is in proper working order.
