HP 1100 and 1300 are UV-Vis spectrometers designed to provide both high-performance and cost-effective spectral analyses for applications in biochemistry, biotechnology, chemistry, and related disciplines. Offering a range of configurability options, the 1100 and 1300 spectrometers are capable of providing reliable, well-defined spectral data, even in challenging laboratory requirements. The systems feature an optical design that incorporates a double-pass monochromator, ensuring precise control and stability of the wavelength range, as well as excellent stray light attenuation. This allows users to discover the exact spectral characteristics of their samples with more confidence and accuracy. For added flexibility, the instruments come with a versatile range of light sources, including tungsten halogen, deuterium, and xenon lamps, and selectable detector options. The 1300 spectrometer also features a scanning speed of 1nm/s and a programmable linear- and logarithmic-scale scanning ability. The 1100 and 1300 are capable of accurately measuring samples in the range of 190 to 1,100nm and 190 to 1,300nm, respectively. They are also capable of measuring multiple samples simultaneously. This is enabled by the sample compartment featuring up to six individual cells and optical configurations. The systems also feature built-in data treatment options, such as integration, overlay, and interpolation. Data can also be manipulated and evaluated with the user-friendly data analysis software, and the results can be exported to other formats for further analysis. The 1100 and 1300 spectrometers are designed for laboratories dedicated to spectral analysis, providing users with the capacity to perform highly accurate and reliable tests on a range of samples. The range of light sources, detectors, and sampling configurations allow for detailed measurements of spectral characteristics at a fraction of the cost compared to more advanced spectrometers.
