X-Ray fluorescence spectrometer 2005 vintage.
RIGAKU ZSX Series XRF spectrometers are a range of compact, powerful spectrometers which are designed for the analysis of a wide range of samples including solid and liquid specimens. X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectrometry is a non-destructive testing technique used to analyze the elemental composition of the sample, providing rapid elemental analysis with trace-level detection limits. RIGAKU ZSX XRF spectrometers are available in two versions: the ZSX Primus II and the ZSX Primus III. Both models use multichannel energy-dispersive detectors, offering excellent sensitivity and detection limits in an easy-to-use platform. The Primus II model features a 30kV/10W X-ray tube for elemental analysis down to Beryllium and is suitable for a range of measurement techniques such as routine and semi-quantitative analysis. The Primus III model features a 50kV/50W x-ray tube, and is suitable for routine and quantitative analysis down to hydrogen. ZSX XRF spectrometers are based on a dual-layer design, with an outer housing which is constructed from epoxy-resin for durability, and an inner housing which is made from carbon steel for excellent accuracy and reliability. The Primus range of ZSX spectrometers is equipped with a 13-step proportional counter filter featuring software-controlled slits, enabling high-quality, high-resolution measurements and improved accuracy. The built-in control system features a colour touchscreen display with a user-friendly interface. This offers 'at a glance' information on the system's status, along with real-time graphical views of z-axis movements. The system is also equipped with a printer, allowing users to print reports directly from the spectrometer. The robust design and user-friendly software interface ensure that RIGAKU ZSX XRF spectrometers are the ideal solution for a range of applications in the laboratory. They offer reliable, accurate elemental analysis of samples, with trace detection limits and high-resolution measurements, making them a practical choice for all elemental analysis needs.
