SHIMADZU SPD-M20A is a high-performance spectrometer that is used for fluorescence, UV-Vis and photoluminescence measurements. It is designed for applications in research, education and industry. SPD-M20A consists of an optical unit and control unit. The optical unit is comprised of two mirror spectrometers and a primary optical system. The two mirror spectrometers, equipped with a precise slit and deuterium lamp, are responsible for the UV-Vis and fluorescence measurements respectively. The primary optical system is composed of a Czerny-Turner type monochromator, which is equipped with a low stray light and high photometric accuracy. For photoluminescence measurements, SHIMADZU SPD-M20A comes with an optional R928P photoluminescence accessory unit that attaches to the optical system. The photoluminescence accessory unit is capable of detecting the wavelengths from 200nm to 830nm with a 0.1nm resolution. SPD-M20A is equipped with the latest logic circuit as well as a large memory (512KB) for data storage and manipulation. Its control unit includes a color TFT LCD monitor, a touch panel, and a USB port for data transfer.
