THERMO FISHER / NICOLET ECO 3000 is a Fourier transform Infrared spectrometer (FTIR) designed to measure the spectrum of incident infrared radiation that passes through the sample. This state-of-the-art FTIR spectrometer is capable of providing an in-depth characterization of the chemical composition of a sample by measuring the infrared absorption of different components of the sample material. The sample holder is manually filled with sample material, placed onto the sample compartment, and the robotic arm delivers it to the sample chamber to optimize the analysis process. Furthermore, the instrument includes an FTIR software package, which enables users to control its features from a computer. This software allows users to acquire and display images, perform data processing and analysis, acquire and store spectra, and print and export results.
