WATERS Alliance 2695 is a liquid chromatography mass spectrometer (LC/MS) engineered for robust, high-performance performance in analytical methodologies and quantitative research environments. This equipment features a quaternary pump, dual-wavelength photodiode array (PDA) detector, and a triple axis mass detector. Alliance 2695 enables comprehensive characterization of compounds, enabling the detection of both polar and non-polar analytes in a single run. Additionally, the use of ion trap/quadrupole technology offers superior detection/quantitation of small molecule and biopharmaceutical compounds, in addition to structural elucidation of large molecules. WATERS Alliance 2695 incorporates a user-friendly, touch-screen interface, combining ease of use with powerful experiment capabilities such as Multiple Reaction Monitoring (MRM), Scan/SRM, MCRM, and MALDI-TOF-MS. The system also features hardware accelerators for phase one experiments, as well as an integrated solvent selection unit with software methods for heavily customized and automated experiments. Additionally, MS/MS experiments may be conducted using Fast Sequential Acquisition (FSA) and Electron Transfer Dissociation (ETD) capabilities. The robust ion source, liquid chromatography, and mass spectrometer columns, paired with the instrument's advanced software, are designed to improve sensitivity and peak shape, as well as reduce baselines and maximise signal-to-noise. Alliance 2695 unit also offers an improved ion source with a temperature range of -20°C-400°C for optimal analyte ionization, as well as an improved and simplified interface enabling more efficient access to experiments.
