WATERS Alliance e2695 is a state-of-the-art spectrometer designed to provide fast and reliable spectral data-acquisition and analysis. The equipment consists of a double-beam optical spectrometer, designed to provide both high spectral resolution and sensitivity in the ultraviolet and visible regions. The unit measures both elastically and inelastically scattered radiation in the vacuum ultra-violet (VUV) and visible (VIS) regions with a spectral resolution of 0.005 nm for both elastically and inelastically scattered radiation. Alliance e2695 includes a high speed ToF-VUV scanning spectrometer and a NIR/VIS spectrometer with a spectral range from 0.15 nm to 1.5 µm in the VIS/NIR regions and from 1.5 - 25 nm in the VUV region. The setup has a wide range of detector technologies, ranging from photomultiplier tubes (PMT) and CCD arrays to LEPI detectors. These detectors are used with different configurations, depending on the application and the desired data acquisition rate. The system is capable of data acquisition rates up to 1 million HZ with a scan rate of up to 150 kHz, giving it an outstanding signal-to-noise ratio. Moreover, this spectrometer is also equipped with an automated alignment unit which ensures accurate spectral acquisition and data acquisition repeatability. Additionally, WATERS Alliance e2695 features an integrated user interface which allows easy set-up and instrument control. The unit has an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) which simplifies data-acquisition and analysis. The graphical interface allows the user to readily access and modify many of the spectrometer's settings and parameters, thereby enabling fast and effective analysis. Furthermore, the machine is compatible with external PC software, such as Matlab, so advanced users can easily access and customize advanced software packages. To ensure excellent results, the tool has a low straylight specification of < 1% and excellent signal stability. This ensures accurate and repeatable spectral data-acquisition over long periods of time. Furthermore, the asset is equipped with an automatic leak-check model which identifies and eliminates any instrument contamination. Finally, Alliance e2695 comes with a range of probes and accessories for a wide range of applications, allowing for maximum use and flexibility.
