WATERS / MICROMASS Q-TOF Ultima is a high resolution Fourier Transform Mass Spectrometer (FTMS) designed to deliver accurate mass measurements at low ppm levels. This equipment combines quadrupole-time-of-flight (Q-TOF) technology with advanced software to provide fast and accurate analysis of complex mixtures with very high mass resolution and ultra-low mass accuracy. The quadrupole components provide a way of starting and controlling ions in the spectrometer while the Orthogonal Acceleration Time-Of-Flight further refine the accuracy.
