MACBETH CE 7000 spectrophotometer is a versatile, wide-spectrum digital instrument used to measure color accurately and precisely. This precision instrument enables accurate color measurement of both opaque and transparent materials including textiles, plastics, inks and coatings. CE 7000 is capable of measuring a large range of colors including solids, metallics, pastels, fluorescent and transparents. MACBETH CE 7000 spectrophotometer has the ability to measure color at three illumination/observation conditions: SCI (Specular Component Included), SCE (Specular Component Excluded) and D/8. SCI mode allows for the measurement of both reflective and diffusive surfaces. The SCE mode allows for accurate measurement of color for only the diffusive surface and is very useful when measuring transparent materials. The D/8 mode allows the instrument to control the illumination angle over a range of 8° in order to simulate additional angles. This spectrophotometer features the renowned M0, M1, M2, M3, and A0 illumination/observation settings, as well as hunter Lab, CIE XYZ, CIE L*a*b* and Yxy, Instrument of Color Difference (ICC) Delta E (DE) and Color rendering Index (CRI). The measurement conditions of CE 7000 also include an adjustable UV cutoff filter (for compliance with various standards), a high-precision tungsten calibration lamp, cie/astm observer, UV corrected, and a large white calibration plate. MACBETH CE 7000 spectrophotometer also features both standard and user definable illuminants, filters, and color/light metering capabilities.
