THERMO FISHER Evolution 60S is a spectrophotometer designed to provide accurate, reliable and repeatable measurements of light absorption, transmission and reflectance over an extremely wide spectral range, from UV to NIR. The spectrophotometer is equipped with two independent spectrometers, each with its own detection system, which enable simultaneous measurements of two spectral regions. The instrument can be used for measurements in the UV/VIS, NIR and Raman ranges with a broad wavelength range of 190 nm to 4300 nm. The instrument is composed of a compact, integrated unit with a variety of different parts, including a source, a sample chamber and a receiver. The source is a xenon flash lamp, which provides flashes of up to 100 mJ of output energy in the wavelength range of 190 nm to 900 nm. The sample chamber contains two sample holders for the sample and reference cuvettes with a visible path length of up to 10 mm. The receiver consists of two detectors which provide one or two channel detectors for UV/Vis measurements and a single detector for NIR and Raman range measurements. Evolution 60S features an intuitive and user-friendly touchscreen interface that provides easy access to the instrument's functions. The instrument also features a range of software capabilities for data acquisition, display and analysis, including a background subtraction option to measure concentration, wavelength accuracy and reproducibility, sensitivity and quantum yield measurements. THERMO FISHER Evolution 60S is designed to deliver the highest degree of accuracy and reliability in a variety of applications such as food and beverage, pharmaceutical and clinical, environmental, plant and material laboratory testing, as well as research and development tasks. The instrument is robust and reliable, with a small footprint and a series of pre-configured methods that make operation simple and user-friendly.
