AGILENT / HP / HEWLETT-PACKARD / KEYSIGHT Medalist X6000 is a high-end x-ray system designed to rapidly analyze materials, electrical components, and PCBs (printed circuit boards). HP Medalist X6000 provides outstanding efficiency and quality in all types of X-Ray inspection and imaging. This x-ray system offers a fully-integrated software suite for setup, operation, and data analysis that makes it meticulously easy to analyze a variety of materials, from copper wires and tracks to complex component geometries with high-precision results. The X6000 features a high-accuracy micro focusing source that enables sharper form recognition and decreasing contrast requirements. It allows for much greater resolution than other inspection systems, up to 2000 linepair/mm (lp/mm). Featuring advanced high-resolution imaging, the X6000 performs both line scanning and digital imaging of analog images in mono-chromatic and trichrome mode, enabling it to display different objects in various colors and shades of gray shadowing. AGILENT Medalist X6000 is built with Automatic Defect Marking (ADM) and Automatic Defect Recognition (ADR) capabilities. ADM automatically marks defect features on the x-ray images, making them easily visible to operators even when the objects are difficult to comprehend. ADR reduces false alarms by taking into account current and past images, automated sample overlapping, and advanced machine learning techniques. The automated classification can effectively distinguish between acceptable and non-acceptable defects. On top of the automatic defect recognition functionality, HEWLETT-PACKARD Medalist X6000 also contains advanced imaging capabilities such as computed tomography (CT) and 2D/3D views. CT enables precise measuring of the component's material thickness, and the combined 2D/3D view allows operators to virtually rotate x-ray images in real time, with dynamic texture and high contrast, making the most difficult features easy to observe. Besides the myriad of high-end imaging capabilities, the X6000 also features quick set-up times and a large memory capacity. The system can accommodate up to ten specimens in a single scan, and can store up to 10GB of x-ray images for data storage and retrieval. The user-friendly software interface offers a clearly structured analysis, report generator, and export interfaces—making it easy to use for both beginner andprofessional operators. Medalist X6000 is truly an excellent tool for rapid, high-precision analysis of materials, components, and PCBs. Its user-friendly functions, sophisticated imaging capabilities, and quick set-up times make it a great choice for any X-Ray inspection and imaging operation.
