BRUKER D8 Advance is a versatile X-ray equipment from BRUKER Corporation. It is a multi-functional tool for material characterization, especially in the fields of pharmaceutical, biological, biochemical and materials sciences. Its advanced design allows for flexible integration of various components, such as detectors, monochromators, analysers and optics, and permits measurements of high resolution. These can be combined with advanced data acquisition and analysis features which allow the machine to integrate data collected from multiple platforms and components, as well as process and visualize the data in real-time. Additionally, the tool is capable of rapid scans such as data collection at ultra-high speeds (up to 20 Hz), enabling the measurement of materials in dynamic motion. For efficient beam delivery, D8 Advance has an integrated, multi-axis goniometer and various sample mechanisms, such as automated sample changers, sample grasping, step deviation, and software post-analyses for optimization. Additional options, such as sample containers andholders, provide additional flexibility. BRUKER D8 Advance features a robust and powerful software suite, featuring X-ray energy optimization, data acquisition and processing, reporting, and analysis functions. It also provides the capability to set up internal and external user groups for collaborative ownership of X-ray data over time. Throughout its asset design, D8 Advance has been designed with safety in mind, and is certified according to FDA and European radiation protection standards. This ensures that the model operates at a safe level for human operators and operators of the equipment.
