DBA (Aurora PostgreSQL)

Summary

Looking for an experienced and hardworking database administrator with Aurora PostgreSQL administration experience

Responsibilities:

• Installing and maintaining database servers
• Maintaining database related processes
• Creating automation scripts for routine tasks
• Performance tuning of complex queries, stored procedures and server instances, etc.

Required skills and experience:

• 3+ years of Aurora PostgreSQL administration experience (including recent versions)
• Knowledge of AWS tools
• AWS HA DB clusters, AWS Multi-AZ DB clusters
• Previous experience with automation tools and scripting languages
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with query performance optimization
• Experience working with software development and QA teams in all phases of the SDLC
• Ability to work in an Agile environment
• Availability of a broad internet channel that allows for quality communication (for remote work format)
• English language skills - B2 level and higher

Will be a plus:

• Monitoring (Datadog, Sentry)
