AMAT / APPLIED MATERIALS Raider is a photoresist equipment used for patterning thin-film materials in a variety of microelectronics and nanotechnology applications. AMAT Raider system utilizes photolithography, a well-established technique used for producing micron or sub-micron features on a substrate. Photolithography is done by passing a patterned light source over a thin-film material which is coated with a photoresist layer. The photoresists in APPLIED MATERIALS Raider unit consists of two types: negative (suitable for positive photoresist patterns) and positive (suitable for negative photoresist patterns). Raider machine delivers a focused pattern of light beams which are used to expose the photoresist layer on the thin-film material. The light source is controlled using an array of spectral filters which allows users to adjust the wavelength of the light emitted. AMAT / APPLIED MATERIALS Raider tool is also equipped with a high-speed shutter which can be used to vary the exposure time and is capable of regulating the intensity of individual light beams. AMAT Raider asset also has a number of advanced features to ensure the quality of pattern produced on the substrate. APPLIED MATERIALS Raider model can be configured to provide high resolution, ideal for working with sub-micron features. Additionally, it has the capability to produce up to 8x the number of pixels per inch which produces outstanding pattern stability and repeatability. In addition, Raider equipment is equipped with a Fine Tune feature which allows users to manipulate the shape of individual light beams, enabling them to adjust spacing, size, and angle of the patterned features. Finally, AMAT / APPLIED MATERIALS Raider system can be controlled remotely and can be adapted to different types of substrates, making it ideal for a wide range of applications. Thanks to its modular design, AMAT Raider unit can be mounted on a variety of optics and stages in order to provide users with versatile tooling options and high precision performance. APPLIED MATERIALS Raider machine can be used in a variety of industries, including telecommunications, automotive and aerospace, semiconductor, and life science fields.
