FSI / YIELDUP Omega 4000 is a photoresist equipment used to create devices and components from printed circuit boards and other materials. The system uses light to etch patterns into a range of substrates and can be used for both positive and negative photoresist. FSI Omega 4000 utilizes sophisticated optical alignment and computer-controlled automation, making it ideal for high-precision projects. The unit consists of a source of light and enables various types of photoresist to be used. It uses different light sources to selectively expose the substrate. This includes light emitting diodes (LEDs) to capture fine details and laser flux optics to capture high resolution details. In addition, an advanced camera machine is employed to accurately image and inspect the finished product. YIELDUP Omega 4000 supports both negative and positive photoresist processes. A negative photoresist works to preserve the pattern exposed to light and the negative photoresist's etching is applied after the development of the photoresist. With a positive photoresist, the pattern is etched through the light exposure and after development the pattern is preserved. This enables the user to preserve fine details and better control the fabrication of their device. The tool is capable of achieving resolutions of up to 4 microns and thicknesses of up to 3 millimeters. Its advanced optics can also provide distortions of +/- 0.03% across a large area and also provide distortions of +/- 0.005% for smaller areas. Omega 4000 is an advanced photoresist asset that provides high-precision results for a wide range of applications. It is ideal for those projects that demand high resolution, accuracy, and repeatability. It has been proven to be one of the most advanced photoresist systems on the market.
