Mini coating systems.
LEYBOLD OPTICS MCS 480 is a photoresist equipment designed for rapid exposure of photoresists to ultraviolet radiation. The system is composed of two major components, the lamp source module and the photo resist processing module. The lamp source module consists of four 300 watt mercury vapor short-arc lamps, each with its own individual optical filter to ensure proper intensity and wavelength of the UV light. The lamps are enclosed in a water-cooled quartz reflector with an adjustable chamber that is designed to help reduce heating and cooling times of the photoresist material. The enclosure can also be programmed to rotate between angles in order to provide uniform exposure to the photoresist on a substrate. The photoresist processing module consists of a chamber that is designed to provide a uniform atmosphere for precise control of the environment during exposure. The chamber contains a blower unit to control the temperature and humidity and is connected to the four lamps from the lamp source module. The chamber also has adjustable shutters to control the amount of UV light that reaches the substrate. MCS 480 is capable of processing substrates of up to 25" in diameter and 0.5" in thickness at an exposure rate of up to 400nm/second. It features a PLC interface that allows users to precisely control the intensity and wavelength of the UV light as well as the timing of the exposure and cooling process. It also has an integrated process controller that can store up to 200 individual exposure recipes for quick and easy setup. LEYBOLD OPTICS MCS 480 is a cost-effective, high-performance photoresist machine that offers users quick, repeatable, and precise exposure that is required in today's precision photolithography processes. The tool is ideal for applications such as mask making, direct write lithography, and direct imaging for the production of semiconductor wafers, optoelectronic devices, and printed circuit boards.
