A SCREEN DUOI is a type of photoresist equipment which allows for the fabrication of printed circuit boards, thin-film circuits and other similar structures. A photoresist system is a method of producing high-resolution patterns on a substrate such as a printed circuit board (PCB) by exposing a photosensitive material to light of predetermined intensity and duration. DUOI unit uses a two-part process called photomasking. First, a clear membrane containing an array of photosensitive material is applied to the substrate. This material reacts to light in an exposed or unexposed manner depending on the duration and intensity of the light source. The substrate is then exposed to light patterns of a desired shape and design. This exposure generates electric energy in the photosensitive material, raising the energy level in that material and making it more likely to react to additional light sources. The Clear memrena containing the photosensitive material consists of two layers. The innermost layer is called the gossamer layer, and is composed of a highly photosensitive material coated onto a releasing agent. The second layer is the molybdenum layer which is made up of a transparent molybdenum compound. This compound helps to pass the reactant more effectively and accurately throughout the substrate. SCREEN DUOI machine uses a pattern of light for each layer of the substrate. A separate light pattern is used for each layer in order to produce accurate, high resolution patterns. The pattern is typically generated from a computer-aided design (CAD) program and consists of a combination of straight and curved lines which are drawn on the substrate. The photosensitive material is then exposed to this pattern and the chemically-active particles absorb the light and react according to the pattern. The result is a high resolution pattern on the substrate which can then be used as the basis of a printed circuit board or other structure. DUOI tool is a reliable and accurate way of producing very detailed and high-resolution patterns. The photosensitive material reacts to light quickly and allows for rapid turnaround of the substrate, making the asset useful for on-demand production of circuit boards or other structures. The model is also relatively cost-effective, making it a preferred option for many manufacturing and fabrication processes.
