SVG 88 is an advanced photoresist equipment used in the electronics industry for production of integrated circuit (IC) chips. It is a photolithography system that utilizes a UV light source to transfer circuit patterns onto a chemically coated wafer. This unit is designed to maximize chip yield and accuracy in the IC development process. Photoresist is a radiation-sensitive material used for forming patterns on a substrate surface. Prior to film deposition, photoresists are carefully spun onto the substrate surface, usually a silicon wafer. This coating is extremely thin and needs to be accurately placed for the final device to function. To ensure alignment, 88 utilizes an advanced optical imaging machine to track and direct the light source. Once the photoresist layer is spun onto the wafer, a reverse tone resist is used to expose the wafer before the deposition process. The resist is exposed to very short wavelength UV light that hardens the resist in the exposed area. This hardening prevents the deposition material from penetrating. To form the pattern, selected areas are exposed while the remaining areas are covered by a chromium mask. The photoresist can then be dried and developed to reveal the circuit pattern. Afterward, the remaining resist is removed, allowing the pattern to be transferred onto the wafer. This process allows for very complex patterns to be created, resulting in a highly accurate design that can be generated quickly and efficiently. Finally, the circuit lithography is metallized to create a final patterned metallic layer. This layer is the foundation of all other layers that build an IC, providing the electrical connections between transistors, resistors, and other components. SVG 88 photoresist tool is a reliable and efficient way to create complex, precisely designed IC chips for various applications. Additionally, the photoresist layer is fully recyclable, reducing the amount of total waste generated in the production process.
