LEYBOLD HERAEUS Sogevac SV16 is a high-performance rotary vane pump designed for use in a variety of industrial vacuum applications. This pump features a compact and lightweight all-metal construction which makes it ideal for rugged applications requiring reliability and durability. It offers excellent pumping speeds, reaching up to 3,150 cubic meters per hour (m3/h) in a single pass. Additionally, the pump also features a low noise level of 65 dB(A) and a low vibration level of less than 2.8mm/s thanks to its anti-vibration mounting system. Sogevac SV16 uses a classic single-stage design for efficient operation. It is powered by an EC-motor directly coupled to a tried and tested rotor and pump body with no need for additional parts. The vanes are made from bi-cast polymeric material for wear resistance and high mechanical stability. The rotor is spinning at a maximum speed of 3,600 rpm and is sealed by dual lip seals for reduced oil drift. The pump is also equipped with a motor protector which protects the system from overloads or incorrect start-up conditions. LEYBOLD HERAEUS Sogevac SV16 is a direct drive pump which offers a choice of either ANSI/NPT or BSP connections and a variety of standard accessories. This includes dry-run protection and overload protection, as well as various adapters and hoses for connecting to the system. It is capable of handling a wide range of pressures from 100 to 30,000 mbar (0.1 to 30 kPa) and offers a maximum temperature rating of +40 °C. Sogevac SV16 can also be equipped with additional accessories, such as a master/slave version for increased pumping speed, an in-line oil filter for improved filtration, and a factory-calibrated oil/gas baffle for precise oil supply management. This pump is designed for reliability and performance in vacuum applications and provides a cost-effective, energy-efficient solution.
