AMAT / APPLIED MATERIALS 0010-52034 Reactor is a manually operated process chamber capable of operating over a wide range of temperatures, pressures and process gases. With an ergonomic design and user-friendly features, it is ideal for any general-purpose deposition application requiring accurate control of material flow and deposition rate. The reactor is constructed from standard materials including stainless steel, aluminum and zinc. It comprises of a cylindrical chamber, pressure gauge, mass flow controller, heating element, and air pump. This combination allows the reactor to navigate processes such as the vapor deposition of thin films onto the surface of materials. The cylindrical stainless steel chamber measures 38" L x 14" H x 14" W and can handle temperatures of up to 60°C. The chamber can be gently heated using a 300W controlled heating element, ensuring desired temperature control with a maximum rate of 10°C/min. The heating element is suspended approximately 4 cm from the bottom of the reactor and provides uniform heating. The pressure gauge is made of aluminum and is located at the top of the chamber. This gauge is connected to the mass flow controller and enables users to accurately adjust the pressure within the chamber. The controller is also connected to the air vent and exhaust flanges, controlling the inflow and outflow of air. The air pump runs at a maximum of 4500 liters/minute and is fitted directly beneath the mass flow controller. This enables a continuous flow of desired process gases and materials for deposition. Additionally, the chamber functions correctly up to a maximum pressure of 1000 mbar and allows for stable control over material flow from the sources to the substrate.
