AMAT / APPLIED MATERIALS Centura CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) reactor is a vacuum process designed to deposit thin films of a variety of materials onto a wide variety of substrates. AMAT Centura CVD is composed of a high-temperature reaction chamber, a gas-management equipment, a temperature-control system, and a particle-removal unit. The high-temperature reaction chamber is designed to deposit films and attach to one or more of the following precursors: silane, disilane, hydrogen sulfide, dichlorosilane, phosphorus oxychloride, arsenic trichloride, argon, and nitrogen. The deposited film(s) can be used in a variety of applications, such as semiconductor device manufacturing, data storage media manufacturing, and optoelectronics manufacturing. The gas-management machine of APPLIED MATERIALS Centura CVD is designed to deliver the selected precursor(s) to the reaction chamber in a controlled manner and in the correct ratios to achieve the desired film composition. The gas-management tool is also designed to control the exact delivery rates of each individual precursor, both in terms of flow rate and pressure, as well as the total pressure inside the reaction chamber. In addition, it is also capable of controlling the flow of inert gases, such as argon or nitrogen, utilized to control temperatures within the reaction chamber. The temperature-control asset of Centura CVD is configured to maintain the temperatures within the reaction chamber within the specified tolerance range as required by the process. This model controls temperatures before, during, and after deposition of the films, allowing for precise control of the process parameters. In addition, the temperature-control equipment is configured to monitor the temperature of the wafer substrate and the deposited films in order to facilitate optimal growth. The particle-removal system of AMAT / APPLIED MATERIALS Centura CVD is designed to remove any particles generated during the deposition process. This helps to ensure a high-quality growth of the film on the substrate. The particle-removal unit utilizes an in-situ vacuum attached to the reaction chamber that continuously pulls out any gaseous or solid contaminants created by the deposition process. The machine also includes an efficient filtration tool and corrosion-resistant materials to prevent particle accumulation and contamination of the asset. AMAT Centura CVD is an excellent deposition model which provides precise control of the deposition process and results in a high-quality deposited film on the substrate, making it the perfect tool for any thin-film deposition application.
