AMAT / APPLIED MATERIALS P5000 Mark II is an advanced plasma etch tool used to produce precise circuits, displays, and other micro-scale components. Designed with precision and flexibility in mind, AMAT P5000 Mark II is capable of fabricating extremely complex shapes, patterns, and sequences with high yields and reliable quality. APPLIED MATERIALS P 5000 MARK II is built on the proven platform of the P5000. It is a single wafer device, accepting 150mm or 200mm wafers, with a maximum form-factor of 8" x 8". It has an advanced process chamber design, which provides high-level thermal uniformity for uniform etch profiles. The chamber comes with a dual source quartzgas injector equipment, enabling superior process control for different etching requirements. The system also has a ceramic lining for enhanced adhesion and reliable chemistry delivery. The etching process is driven by the E-Flex control unit, a powerful user-friendly software package that allows for precise control over the calibration, etch rates, temperature, gas delivery and process parameters. The E-Flex control machine provides the operator with real-time feedback of all process variables enabling precise tuning of the process to ensure maximum yields and highest product quality. AMAT / APPLIED MATERIALS P 5000 MARK II operates at high ion current densities, up to 350A/cm2 with a repeatable process range between 500-5000W. This ensures high penetration for deep etch profiles with fast process times. It also provides uniformity over the entire wafer surface with up to 10 micron depth resolution and repeatable oxide etching cycles over 1mm in depth. APPLIED MATERIALS P5000 Mark II tool is equipped with safety features such as a wafer-probe, an automated lockout tool and a pressure monitor. Together, they ensure uninterrupted and safe operation with minimum risk of operator injury. It has several additional features, such as a 200-400Kg load-lock, temperature monitors and integrated tracking asset, enabling improved process accuracy and uniformity. It is also certified with several industrial regulatory standards, such as NRTL/C, CE and UL. Overall, P 5000 MARK II is a highly efficient and precise tool, capable of producing highly complex structures and components with great reliability and accuracy. It is one of the most advanced etching systems on the market, perfect for circuit fabrication and microchip assembly.
