AMAT / APPLIED MATERIALS P5000 is a pilot-scale production thin-film cold wall parts hydrogenation reactor designed for fuel cell applications. The reactor is powered by a liquid nitrogen equipment and is designed to operate at atmospheric pressure. AMAT P-5000 utilizes a proven design for low-cost, precise and precise thin-film coating. With a 5-inch inner diameter, APPLIED MATERIALS P 5000 reactor is ideal for thin-film hydrogentation and coating processes such as electroplating, electroless-plating and dielectric evaporation. AMAT P 5000 utilizes a unique three-layer design to allow the thin-film process to be precisely controlled. The first layer is the graphite cold wall that surrounds the reaction vessel and provides the electrical contact between the reactor and the power supply. The second layer is the graphite cold wall that encloses the conductive substrate to create a precise thin-film coating. The third layer is a special grade of glass that insulates the substrate from the surrounding environment. The high-efficiency cooling system of AMAT P5000 ensures that the substrate is cooled and homogeneously heated to improve the thin-film coating process. The cooling rate of the unit is adjustable, which makes the thin-film hydrogentation process easily controllable. Additionally, the reactor is equipped with an independent multi-zone temperature controller for better precision in the thin-film process. The reactor is designed to accommodate up to two substrate sizes: 3 and 4.5 inch. The substrate size is chosen by the user to suit the specific thin-film process.
