LPE 3061D reactor is a type of continuous flow reactor manufactured by LPE Systems. It is a jacketed vessel designed for research and pilot scale processes in both gas and liquid phase applications. The agitation system utilizes a top mounted turbine style agitator with two concentric blades that can provide speeds up to 500 rpm. The agitator is driven by a use of a three phase motor. Additional agitation features include a low and a high speed hydraulic lift, allowing for a higher degree of shear. LPE 3061D reactor provides a range of outlet pressure and temperature capabilities. Pressure can be set from -1.0 to 8.5 bar with a pressure relief valve at the outlet. Temperature can be set from -25 to 250°C with a built-in heating and cooling system. The reactor is protected by over temperature and level monitoring systems as well as alarm systems. 3061D reactor also features several functional options for a number of applications. It can be operated in single or multiple batch mode for optimal performance. Sampling ports and degassing ports are included for easy product sampling and effluent gas collection. Other features include temperature controls for the jacket, a thermowell for temperature measurement and an Adjustable Flow Control Valve (AFCV). This allows for precise control of the flow.
