WATKINS JOHNSON WJ-1000T is a reactor designed for health physics applications. It is an air cooled, horizontal, cylindrical unit that is constructed of stainless steel and designed for operation in a hot cell. The reactor has a core that consists of several concentric cylinders of stainless steel lined with a thin layer of zirconium and filled with approximately 44 kg of evenly distributed graphite moderator.
