AMRAY 3300 is an advanced scanning electron microscope with superior performance characteristics. It combines high resolution imaging capabilities and superior performance parameters allowing it to provide state-of-the-art imaging of a wide variety of sample materials. 3300 is a field emission type scanning electron microscope with a maximum resolution of up to 2 nanometers. It uses an in-lens detector for generating higher resolution images along with lower noise and more uniformity in signal intensity. AMRAY 3300 comes equipped with an automated XY stage and a flexible specimen chamber. It is capable of automatically adjusting to maintain a consistent operation whenever sample conditions change. It also provides high precision alignment and tracking of the specimen for accurate sample analysis. The microscope also uses a Field-Emission-Conductor-Beam (FECB) source that can achieve a high voltage of up to 40 kV and can be further pushed up to 200 kV with the help of voltage multipliers. This helps in generating higher quality images with minimized charging and improved image contrast. For example, the variable pressure (VP) and low-vacuum (LV) options make it possible to be used in both the high and the low vacuum settings.
