Critical Dimension Scanning Electron Microscope (CD-SEM), 12".
HITACHI CG 4000 is an advanced scanning electron microscope (SEM), designed to provide high resolution images of microscopic objects. The microscope is equipped with a 1nm spot size scanning electron gun which ensures accurate imaging of samples with a high level of detail. HITACHI CG4000 also features a high-performance scanning electron column with an acceleration voltage of up to 30kV, providing the highest resolution imaging available on the current SEM market. The SEM is capable of high-speed imaging with a maximum frame rate of up to 34 frames per second and a time resolution of 5x10-6 s/pixel. This allows users to capture information quickly and accurately, even under dynamic imaging conditions. The high speed scanning capability is combined with a powerful imaging software, making it possible to capture and analyze data in real-time without the need for expensive post-processing. CG-4000 is designed to provide reliable results without compromising the accuracy of the SEM imaging. A novel sample transfer stage enables easy alignment of the sample, thereby guaranteeing accurate mapping of the sample's surface and avoiding artifacts in the SEM results. The sample transfer stage is complimented with a ring-style excitation stage, providing maximum sensitivity and reproducibility. In order to ensure high imaging quality and long-term reliability, the microscope is equipped with an extremely robust cold field emission gun (CFEG). The CFEG provides superior imaging quality due to its low electron gun divergence and low noise, while its cold environment enhances the stability of the system over long-term use. The advancements in the system do not end there. HITACHI CG-4000 includes newly developed flat panel detectors, designed to produce optimal results at low kV. This reduces the effects of image distortion due to sample charging, providing sharper and brighter images at lower electron energies. The technical specifications of CG4000 make it an ideal instrument for various applications, such as materials science, semiconductor quality control and failure analysis, in addition to medical and biological imaging. The wide range of electromagnetic lenses, combined with the high energy resolution of CG 4000 greatly expands its application range into new realms, making it a versatile tool with huge potential.
