ZEISS / LEO EVO 50 is a scanning electron microscope (SEM) that is designed for versatile and high-quality imaging of nanostructures and materials. It is equipped with a dual-column stand for efficient and ergonomic operation, enabling researchers to obtain optical and electron microscopy simultaneously. The SEM is capable of producing high-resolution, three-dimensional images of microscopic structures and samples. LEO EVO 50 has a variable working distance for sample manipulation capabilities and optimal imaging on the electron microscope side. It utilizes a monochromatic Everhart-Thornley Secondary Electron Detector (ETD) that provides maximum image contrast and resolution. The secondary electron detector is equipped with an automatic "focus mode" feature, which allows the user to quickly capture optimized results. This SEM is further equipped with an integrated stereomicroscope (SM) which utilizes high-speed digital scanning technology to deliver consistent magnifications up to 5000x. The SM is optimized for imaging larger samples such as tissues, archaeological artifacts and living organisms. In addition, the SM also offers a wide field of view with low-stray light, high sensitivity, and symmetrical illumination, allowing the user to easily observe delicate structures. ZEISS EVO 50 is a robust system designed for non-contact and non-destructive imaging. It offers excellent vibration and temperature control, with a minimum vibration at the sample surface of less than 10nm. This SEM also delivers another advanced technique called "Charge Displacement Reduction" (CDR), which allows the user to interactively control the microscope beam. This technique reduces charging and contrast artifacts, resulting in cleaner images. EVO 50 is designed to offer consistent results and performance, with minimal effort for sample loading. It can be integrated with a dedicated software platform designed for SEM and SM imaging operation. This system has an intuitive and user-friendly graphical interface which allows the user to quickly learn and access all of the features. Overall, ZEISS / LEO EVO 50 is the perfect choice for researchers and technicians requiring exceptional performance and accuracy. It offers a flexible and efficient imaging solution, making it ideal for research laboratories.
