DISCO 6340 scribing / dicing equipment is a technologically advanced and highly precise scribing/dicing solution for large-scale die production applications. This system is capable of cutting/dicing flat substrates, DRAM wafers, MEMS and 3D chips. By utilizing its high resolution Nano components and patented Intelligent Edge Positioning Unit (IEP), the machine is capable of cutting sub-millimeter shapes with unparalleled accuracy and uniformity. 6340 is equipped with a patented single-axis linear motion motor, high-resolution autofocus camera and advanced high-precision microscope. Using these components, it is capable of accurately pinpointing and scribing/dicing geometries on a wide range of substrates. These include glass, quartz, aluminum, ceramic and other materials. To guarantee accuracy, the tool has been calibrated to ensure accurate and consistent results when working with the targeted shape. The one-axis motor, combined with the intelligent edge positioning asset, works to provide the user with an incredibly fast and accurate scribing and dicing operation, capable of running at speeds of up to 600mm/s. In addition, the integrated laser on the model performs a closed-loop control equipment to prevent over-cutting out of shape. The accompanying software also works to assist in identifying defects and reducing waste. The system has been designed with a patented eddy current brake, isolated green laser, maintenance-free design and direct dust collection to minimize the need for manual cleaning. In addition, the unit is also equipped with a dust-proof camera and LED lighting machine to provide visibility during operation.
