K&S 780 is a scribing / dicing equipment designed for the handling of various applications in the field of electronics and semi-conductor production. It specifically is suitable for masking and marking, cutting, sawing and drilling operations. 780 consists of a heavy duty steel base and a cantilevered cutting bed which is mounted on a rigid staging platform and the entire cutting process is controlled by a high precision computer numerical control (CNC) programmable operating panel. The CNC system is designed to provide the highest levels of accuracy and repeatability during all application processes. K&S 780 is capable of scribing up to a maximum depth of 6mm, and is also able to dice at a maximum speed of 12' per second. The scribing head is mounted on radial axes and the X, Y, and Z plane adjustments are made using manual and non-conductive components. The motorized cutting bed offers an automatic range of 40mm to 180mm, providing the operator with an greater area to work on. 780 features automatic scribing, marking and sawing functions, allowing for automated and precise operations in the cutting of material. In addition, K&S 780 is also able to execute small holes developing as a result of punching or drilling operations. 780 is designed to handle a variety of material sizes, from micro-level metal or fiber optic parts to components up to 400mm x 200mm. Additionally, the unit is equipped with integrated pneumatic linear clamps for secure material control, ensuring the highest level of accuracy. K&S 780 is suitable for operators requiring high speed, accurate and flexible scribing and dicing capabilities in the production of electronic components. It provides reliable, trouble-free operation and can accommodate a variety of material sizes. Furthermore, its motorized movement and integrated clamping machine ensures repeatable operation and durability. 780 is the ideal solution for wherever reliable scribing and dicing is required.
