TEMPRESS 604 is a highly advanced scribing and dicing equipment designed to accurately and quickly engrave and cut shapes and patterns into a variety of materials including: ceramic, quartz glass, crystalline, semiconducting wafers and membranes, opto-electronic materials and metals. 604 system is capable of up to 6 micron resolution accuracy and features an X-Y motion stage with a precision motion controller. This motion controller is capable of highly accurate and repeatable motion over an extended range. The X-Y motion allows for unlimited cutting of 2D shapes, grooves and X-Y arrays. The unit also has the option of adding a third axis (Z-axis) for centering and sample orientation. TEMPRESS 604 has two interchangeable cutting heads.
