MONDRAGON ASSEMBLY BP-379 is a state of art solar production equipment designed to assist in the production of photovoltaic modules. With its unique concept, this production line revolutionizes the way solar module production is done, allowing for faster and more efficient manufacturing of these important energy sources. The assembly line is composed of several components. Firstly, the frame is made of high quality galvanized steel and contains several non-standardized parts which are adapted according to each customer's needs. Next, the electrical enclosure is located in the center of the frame and contains the electrical connections for the assembly line's machine components. This enclosure also contains all the additional control components, such as a Delta I/O Firmware update Supervisor, a PLC Interface and an Operator Interface. Moving further down the line, the module conveyor equipment is one of the key components, as it plays a fundamental role in moving the modules along the line. This includes a central motor which activates the single-axis modules. Additionally, the frame comes with three different types of modules, one for the automatic preparation of cells and two others for the assembly of the module itself. Each module is equipped with an enabling system, which allows for a rapid change of the production line layout, depending on each customer's specific needs. The following components are dedicated to the rear-contact wiring and module handling. This unit includes a belt conveyor, which is designed to transport the finished modules down the line to the edge of the frame. Moreover, the modules are transferred onto an automatic rear-contact box, which allows for connectivity of the modules to the electricity grid. Finally, the module transfer machine promptly transports the modules from the edge of the frame to the test and packaging stations. The next station is dedicated to the electrical characteristics testing and packaging of the solar modules. This includes a device equipped with several electrical test probes, which are used to measure the electrical characteristics of the modules. Once the tests are completed, the modules can be automatically sent to the packaging station. Here, the modules are automatically packaged and labeled according to the customer's specifications and can be easily transported to the installation site. Over all, BP-379 is a key component of the solar module manufacturing process as it provides an efficient and user friendly production line. With this production line, customers are able to quickly and efficiently produce photovoltaic modules with high quality electrical characteristics. This assembly line not only reduces production costs but also increases the module's electrical yield, helping to make solar energy more accessible to consumers.
