LEYBOLD Web 750sp is a state of the art sputter deposition equipment designed to facilitate a wide range of sputter applications. It incorporates an ultra-thin film sputter deposition module that helps create unique thin film deposition ranging from pure metals to complex, multicomponent alloys or oxides. Web 750sp features a large 12 x 8 inch active sputtering area that provides maximum area coverage allowing for the sputtering of larger substrates. It also utilizes a pulsed DC magnetron technique which offers optimal performance and the ability to deposit thin film structures with exceptional uniformity, adhesion and compositional repeatability. LEYBOLD Web 750sp includes an integrated computer control and visualization system that helps monitor the deposition process. This unit offers an automated approach with user-defined parameters that allows for simple and efficient operation. Web 750sp also includes a flexible module machine, allowing the tool to be customized according to user application needs. LEYBOLD Web 750sp features high purity gas distribution, allowing for optimal purging of the chamber before and during sputtering processes, with a wide range of process gases ranging from Ar to O2 and N2. The asset also offers a range of quartz and ceramic targets for substrate sputtering, and includes four turbo-molecular pumps with oil diffusion pumps for pumping down the model for deposition.
