The two part process chamber is l8" dia with the lower ss portion 11" deep, while the upper Pyrex collar and plexiglass implosion cage adds 6" to the overall depth. The pumping system consists of a Varian VHS6 diffusion pump rated at 2400 l/s, integral LN2 trap with controller, electropneumatic valves with Sequentorr II sequencer, ion gauge and a Welch 1397-17.7 CFM mechanical roughing pump. A Sloan Model DDC500 digital deposition controller with 3 sensor heads, shutter control and horizontal planetary are also included.
