The system is equipped with two independent spindles - one for grinding and the other for lapping and polishing operations. The spindles are driven by a high performance FANUC Alpha 16i servo motor, providing precise and repeatable performance in either direction of rotation. The grinding spindle is equipped with an integrated grinding head and rotary table to provide quick and easy indexing, allowing the user to switch between different grinding tools or applications quickly and easily. A built-in traceable measuring unit provides high accuracy measurement and diagnostics with repeatable results and minimal waste.
